When you were 5 what did you want to be?

Growing up I used to be obsessed with marine life and anything that lived underwater. So for the longest time I wanted to be a marine biologist... Then I saw the movie Jaws. That changed my mind in a heartbeat!

Would you rather have gills like a fish or fly like a bird?

Tough one... I'd probably want gills like a fish.

What kind of music are you into?

Cashmere, Baby

Who doesn't love a little bit of cashmere in their lives? But how about technical cashmere? I will be the first to say it... I love Kit & Ace! (Read my previous post here) I was recently invited to visit my local Kit & Ace store to view and try on their newest collection. The pieces and aesthetic stay true to the company's culture and values. Everything is very simple, but have hidden gems and surprises. Previous to this visit, I had the pleasure to attend some of their fabulous events, which were hosted in the store. Kit & Ace knows how to throw a party! Music, decor and environment are key, and they leave nothing half done. I can't wait to see what they do next!

Make sure you check out their website and treat yourself to something cashmere!

If you could re-name yourself, would you?

Growing up, I didn't necessarily like my name. But now in my life I have come to love it and wouldn't change it. If I HAD to choose a name it would be Sebastian, or Seb for short. He can be my alter ego.

Is there anyone you don't speak to anymore that you wish you did?

There is a certain someone. We don't speak to each other anymore, but I know we will cross paths again in the future. Until then...

How are you the same as your ten-year-old self?

As my mom likes to say, I'm still dreaming big.

The Great Escape

I recently escaped the Toronto cold and enjoyed a fabulous week lying in the warm sun, walking on the sandy beaches and soaking up the tropical vibes in Cuba. I don't think I will ever get used to turquoise water,  but I can definitely get used to seeing it more. We stayed at the Tryp Hotel Resort in beautiful Cayo Coco. The resort has lots of things to do and places to see, but my friends and I enjoyed most of our time at the beach and sitting in the warm water. I celebrated by birthday on the beach this year, which to me is super exciting considering I would never be able to do it back home. So we popped a bottle of champagne on the beach and enjoyed some delicious snacks. It's safe to say that one of my birthday wishes did come true!

What was the best Halloween costume that you've dressed up as?

Growing up my mom always made our Halloween costumes. She dressed up as clowns (At a very young age. As in cute clowns) Power Rangers and even Peter Pan! But hands down, my favourite costume was made by my Grandma. She created me this amazing costume from the show called Cardcaptors. I loved it so much that I still have it to this day.

Are you the kind of person who likes talking to the person beside you on the plane or do you put headphones straight in?

I always think I will be listening to music on an airplane, but I always end up talking to the person beside me. Even if it's a stranger!

Morning coffee or evening wine?

Um... BOTH!
