This week has been so much fun! I really needed time to escape from the city and live it up in the woods for a bit. I've always had a natural attraction to water, I find water very calming and peaceful. So I thought going out on the canoe would be a great idea. I tried several times to wake up early to beat the windy surfaces, but no luck. It's hard to wake up early on your mornings off. We eventually made it out on the open water and enjoyed the natural beauty around us. We also hit the trails with the four wheelers. What a thrill! Brad wanted to visit his friends one evening, so we met up in town for dinner.
Later that night we went bowling! Now I know, bowling does not go hand in hand with camping, but it does when you are glamping. ;) We had a great night full of laughs and new memories shared. Unfortunately the end of our trip was interrupted by mother nature and her call for rain. It was very much needed, but couldn't she of waited one more day? Guess not. Everyone decided to pack it up early and head back to the city.
